Les mauvais choix, les mauvaises actions, les os qui plient. “Si c’était à refaire…” mais refaire surtout les mêmes erreurs. S’en vouloir, mais éviter la fuite. Absorber. Descendre, descendre, descendre. Choisir les synthétiseurs et s’attaquer soi-même. Se dire «fuck off», revivre et changer. Le son des jours qui viennent à bout des plus violents regrets.

Police des moeurs est un groupe de musique pop synthétique fondé à Montréal en 2010. Les membres sont Francis, Anouk, Fred et Catherine. Ils proposent une musique froide, mélodique et nostalgique pour les coeurs brisés et les âmes noires. Police Des Moeurs est la trame sonore de la nuit nucléaire, un moment transitoire entre l’effondrement des utopies et le désastre écologique final. Le monde après le futur.

L’Église du Chemin du Paradis, sur la pochette, se situe au 1640, avenue Papineau, à Montréal.

Police Des Moeurs is a synth-pop band formed in Montreal in 2010. Members are Francis, Anouk, Fred and Catherine. They play cold, melodic and nostalgic music for broken hearts and dark minds. Police Des Moeurs is the soundtrack for the nuclear night, a transition moment between the end of utopia and the final ecological disaster. The world after the future.

Kuinka tänään voit? by Kuudes Tunti is without a doubt one of my all time favourites when it comes to Finnish black lipstick infested, funky doom n’ gloom. And praise the Lord for the Finnish indie label Svart Records for re-releasing the album after nearly 30 years of waiting. The album will be available as your standard CD, as a double-LP and as a limited yellow vinyl pressing with a hefty 20-page booklet and bonus tracks.

To celebrate this cultural deed of heroism we’ll post the album’s first track the way I first heard it: recorded from the LP to a cassette, with the audio transferred to a blank CD, and from the CD as MP3s to my computer. The sounds are what you’d expect after such converting hell. ~neopatra
